What is this?
Type the length while you draw. No dimensioning afterwards.
The standard Line command asks you to draw first and add dimensions later. Sirokuma Line turns that around: click the start point, move the mouse to pick the direction, type the length, press Enter – the segment is fixed at exactly that length and the next one continues from its end point. A closed outline is finished in one pass, already dimensioned.
Who this is for
People who add dimensions to every sketch line after drawing it, and who often draw outlines with horizontal, vertical and 45-degree lines.
How to use
- Open a sketch for editing
- In the Sketch > Create panel, click “Sirokuma Line” (next to the standard Line command)
- Left click to place the start point and move the mouse to set the direction (45-degree steps)
- Type the length straight into the viewport and press Enter. The segment is fixed and the next one starts from its end point (no Tab, no input box to click into)
- Ctrl+Delete removes the last segment of the current chain. Ctrl+Enter finishes the chain
- Horizontal and vertical segments get a horizontal/vertical constraint on the spot
- Two length modes: Incremental (the length of this segment) and Absolute (the cumulative distance from the first start point of the chain)
- Snapping: Point (always on), Midpoint, Hole Center, Quadrant, Edge, Guide Intersection, Midpoint Between Lines. Dashed guide lines extend horizontally and vertically from the point you grabbed; drawn segments get a white dot at each joint and a cyan triangle at each midpoint
Please read before installing
- A sketch must be open in edit mode (outside a sketch, the command tells you to open one first)
- The direction is limited to 45-degree steps. There is no free-angle numeric input
- Absolute mode measures from the first start point of the chain, not from the sketch origin
Requirements
- Windows 64-bit
- Autodesk Fusion (Design workspace)

- I understand that this product is a free Fusion add-in for sketches in the Autodesk Fusion Design workspace that draws a continuous line while I type the length of each segment.
- I understand that the Product works only while a sketch is open for editing (if I run it outside a sketch, it tells me to open one first).
- I understand that the direction of a segment is limited to 45-degree steps, with no free-angle numeric input, and that in Absolute mode the length I type is the cumulative distance from the first start point of the chain, not from the sketch origin.
- I understand that I need Windows and Autodesk Fusion separately, and that I will provide my own Fusion subscription at my own cost.
- I understand that changes to Fusion or Windows, or outages or discontinuation of those services, may cause this product to stop working or behave differently, and that the seller cannot prevent this.
- One license key works on one PC only. When I first enter the license key, the add-in connects to the internet to check it. It may stop working if I replace or repair my PC or reinstall Windows.
- I will not transfer, lend, share or distribute the license key or the downloaded files. I will not modify, analyze or redistribute the contents.
- There is no warranty. I understand that fixes, updates and answers to inquiries are not promised (when a fix is ready, we may tell you inside the Product when it starts). I understand that bug reports must be sent through the contact form with the license key and a description of the problem, that a Fusion file (.f3d) that reproduces the problem must then be attached to a reply to our email, and that reports without both the license key and the .f3d file cannot be accepted.
- I agree that the seller records the email address, company name and job title I enter and a value that identifies the PC where I enter the license key (converted into a form that cannot be reversed), and uses them to manage license keys (one PC per license key) and to count how many people use the Product and whether they later buy a paid product (see the Privacy Policy).
- The Product is free. I agree that, except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the seller’s liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
- I am 18 or older (or, if I am under 18, I have the consent of a parent or guardian).
- I have read and understood everything on the product page and on this screen, and the Privacy Policy, and I agree to it before applying.
- I request that my license key and download be provided immediately, and I acknowledge that, where a statutory right of withdrawal applies (for example, the 14-day right in the EU), I lose that right once delivery has begun.
For how we handle your email address and other personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.
