What is this?
Set your hole dimensions once. Recall them with one click.
The standard Hole command makes you type the same diameters and depths over and over. Sirokuma Hole adds presets: register a size once, and from then on you just press a button. It can also place a counterbore in the top plate and a tapped hole in the bottom plate in a single operation, measuring the plate thickness automatically.
The holes are standard Fusion hole features. They sit in the timeline, stay editable and export normally. The add-in does not replace them with custom geometry.
Who this is for
People who type the same diameters and depths for the same hole sizes (tapped holes, counterbores and so on) again and again, and people who put counterbores and tapped holes through stacked plates.
How to use
- Draw the hole positions as sketch points
- In Solid > Create, click “Sirokuma Hole” (next to the standard Hole command)
- Pick the type: Hole / Tapped Hole / Counterbore / Stacked
- Pick a size and a slot – the dimensions appear on the section drawing and can be overwritten
- Select the points and press OK, or press “Next Hole” to carry on with the dialog open
- To edit later, double-click “Sirokuma Hole” in the timeline (it reopens with the saved values)
How the presets are organised
- Up to 15 size buttons (seven filled by default, the rest yours)
- 16 slots (4 x 4) per preset face, and 3 faces (Preset 1 / 2 / 3). Pressing a face swaps all 16 slots at once. Double-click to rename faces and slots
- Any thread standard Fusion knows can be used, including ANSI Unified (inch) and ISO metric
- “Save to Slot” is a two-step action: press once (it turns yellow), pick the slot and face, press again – the values now in the dialog go into that slot. “Open Preset Palette” shows all 48 slots (16 x 3 faces) in one view so you can assign them
Working across plates
- Plate Thickness – measures the material under each point and uses it as the depth, so one operation fits plates of different thickness
- From Back – drills from the far side of the plate
- Both sides – drills from the front and the back, facing each other. One operation, and it lands in the timeline as a single feature
- Stacked – counterbore in the top plate, tapped hole in the bottom plate, top plate measured automatically
- Up to three plates – with Both sides: plates 1-2 on the first pass, plates 2-3 on the second
- Through detection – when the front and back threads overlap inside the middle plate (thread depth x 2 – middle plate thickness) by at least the nominal thread diameter multiplied by a factor, the add-in treats it as a through hole: the middle plate gets a plain through hole and the far side gets the counterbore only. Tap through value: Pilot / 1.5D / 2D / 3D / 3.5D / 4D (default 1.5D)
Seeing the hole before you cut it
While the dialog is open, the hole you are about to make is drawn in colour and shows through the material. “Color” sets the rings (mouth, counterbore floor, step, cone start, hole bottom), the fill, colour, opacity, show-through and line width. Changes appear on the screen immediately.

- Pilot Hole Settings – pilot depth = tap depth + chamfer threads x pitch + extra clearance (the default 2.5 threads matches a common spiral tap)
- Deepest – the shoulder depth plus the height of the drill point (the deepest point the tool actually reaches)
- Import from Existing Hole – select the wall (cylindrical face) of a hole you already made, and its dimensions are loaded
Before you buy – please read
- Hole positions are given as sketch points. Selecting a face or an edge is not supported
- Countersink holes are not supported (Hole / Counterbore / Tapped Hole / Stacked only)
- A tapped hole is a pilot hole plus the standard thread feature, so the pilot diameter is yours to choose
- Stacked mode needs two separate bodies lined up along the drilling direction
- Both sides and From Back cannot be used at the same time. Turning one on turns the other off. Plate Thickness works with either

- There is no warranty. I understand that fixes, updates and answers to inquiries are not promised (when a fix is ready, we may tell you inside the Product when it starts). I understand that bug reports must be sent through the contact form with the license key and a description of the problem, that a Fusion file (.f3d) that reproduces the problem must then be attached to a reply to our email, and that reports without both the license key and the .f3d file cannot be accepted.
- I understand that a monthly or yearly plan renews automatically until I cancel, and that the same amount is paid through PayPal each time. If the price changes, you will tell me by email in advance.
- I will cancel by myself from “Automatic payments” in my PayPal account. I understand that after cancelling I can keep using the Product until the end of the period I have paid for.
- While payments continue, the Product checks my license over the internet and automatically extends the date until which it can be used. I understand that if I cancel, if a payment fails, or if my PC stays offline for a long time, the Product stops working after that date.
- Because this is a digital product, no returns, refunds or cancellations are accepted for periods already paid. I agree that this also applies if “it was not what I expected” or “I no longer use it”.
- I agree that, except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the seller’s liability is limited to the amount I paid.
- I am 18 or older (or, if I am under 18, I have the consent of a parent or guardian).
