What is this?
Make posted NC programs shorter with arcs and helices.
A posted NC program is usually a long list of tiny straight moves. Sirokuma Converter rewrites those point clouds back into arcs (G02/G03) and helical moves, so the same toolpath needs far fewer lines and far fewer bytes – useful when your control has limited memory or drip-feeds the program.
Measured on a real 3D contour program (ball end mill, corner radii): lines 2,442 → 896 (-63%), bytes 50,506 → 28,506 (-44%).
The safety check – the point of the product
Every conversion is verified point by point by an independent parser: the converted program is read back and compared with the original in both directions (gouge and leftover). If the deviation exceeds your tolerance anywhere, the output file is deleted and nothing is written. What cannot be proven correct is not converted.
※Please test the converted program thoroughly before using it. The point-by-point check proves the geometry matches within your tolerance; it cannot know your machine, fixture or control.
Who this is for
Anyone whose NC files are too big for the control’s memory, who wants to send less data when drip-feeding, or who wants to see how the converted program really cuts before sending it to the machine.
How to use
- The icon has two modes. When the icon is white, it converts the latest NC that you posted yourself. When the icon is yellow, one click does everything, from posting to converting (switch modes in Settings > How the file is picked)
- In the Manufacture workspace, open the Milling tab and click Sirokuma Converter (in yellow mode, select the setup to convert in the browser first)
- The NC file is converted and verified, <name>_conv.nc is written next to the original, and a material-removal preview opens in your browser
- If it looks good, click “Overwrite the original file” in the preview to replace the original file with the converted program
Features
- Rewrites tiny straight moves into arcs (G02/G03) and helical moves
- Large reduction on 2D pocket / contour / adaptive clearing (measured up to -80% lines on 2D adaptive)
- Helical output pays off on 3D contour, corner rounding, bore, thread mill – anything that orbits while Z advances
- Full verification every time: nothing is written if the tolerance is exceeded anywhere
- Material-removal preview: watch the converted program cut the stock before you send it
- Overwrite the original file: if you convert the programs of every operation, the conversion is surely applied to all of them
- Converted programs get a (SIROKUMA_CONVERTER) mark below the O number, so you can tell whether a file is already converted, and it is never converted twice
- Feeds are kept (runs are split where the feed changes); moves that are not arcs stay as the original points
Requirements
- Windows 64-bit

- Nothing else to install (runs on the Python that ships with Fusion)
- Simultaneous rotary motion (4-axis wrap, rotary) is not supported (indexed setups are fine)
- An internet connection when you enter your license key and when the license’s expiry date is renewed

Please read all of items 1–16 below. On the screen after “Proceed to the final check” at the bottom, you check items 1–16 again and tick the box; you cannot proceed to payment without it.
- I understand that this product is a Fusion add-in that rewrites the tiny straight moves of an NC program posted from Autodesk Fusion into arcs (G02/G03) and helical moves to make it shorter, that every converted program is compared point by point with the original, and that no file is written if the deviation exceeds the tolerance anywhere.
- I understand that it works on NC programs posted from Fusion for milling setups in the Manufacture workspace, that simultaneous rotary motion (such as 4-axis wrapping) is not supported, and that moves that cannot be expressed as arcs are left as the original points (so the amount of reduction depends on the toolpath).
- I will always check the converted NC program myself, for example in the preview page and on my machine, before using it for machining. The point-by-point check proves the geometry matches within the tolerance, but it cannot know my machine, fixture or control, so I agree not to use it for machining without checking.
- I understand that I need Windows and Autodesk Fusion separately, and that I will provide my own Fusion subscription at my own cost.
- I understand that changes to Fusion or Windows, or outages or discontinuation of those services, may cause this product to stop working or behave differently, and that the seller cannot prevent this.
- One license key works on one PC only. It may stop working if I replace or repair my PC or reinstall Windows.
- I will not transfer, lend, share or distribute the license key or the downloaded files. I will not modify, analyze or redistribute the contents.
- There is no warranty. I understand that fixes, updates and answers to inquiries are not promised (when a fix is ready, we may tell you inside the Product when it starts). I understand that bug reports must be sent through the contact form with the license key and a description of the problem, that a Fusion file (.f3d) that reproduces the problem must then be attached to a reply to our email, and that reports without both the license key and the .f3d file cannot be accepted.
- I understand that a monthly or yearly plan renews automatically until I cancel, and that the same amount is paid through PayPal each time. If the price changes, you will tell me by email in advance.
- I will cancel by myself from “Automatic payments” in my PayPal account. I understand that after cancelling I can keep using the Product until the end of the period I have paid for.
- While payments continue, the Product checks my license over the internet and automatically extends the date until which it can be used. I understand that if I cancel, if a payment fails, or if my PC stays offline for a long time, the Product stops working after that date.
- Because this is a digital product, no returns, refunds or cancellations are accepted for periods already paid. I agree that this also applies if “it was not what I expected” or “I no longer use it”.
- I agree that, except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the seller’s liability is limited to the amount I paid.
- I am 18 or older (or, if I am under 18, I have the consent of a parent or guardian).
- I have read and understood everything on the product page and on this screen, including the terms of sale, and I agree to it before buying.
- I request that my license key and download be provided immediately after my first payment, and I acknowledge that, where a statutory right of withdrawal applies (for example, the 14-day right in the EU), I lose that right once delivery has begun.
For how we handle your email address and other personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.
On the next screen, choose monthly or yearly, check your order and items 1–16, tick the box and enter your email address, company name and job title to proceed to PayPal.
